Are you bonded and insured?
Yes. We are bonded and fully covered with liability and crime coverage. Our staff members are friendly and trustworthy and we hold a claim-free record.

What if something in my home gets damaged?
We treat your home with as much care and respect as we treat our own home. However, in the case that something gets damaged or broken, Lily Cleaning Services will make every effort to repair or replace the item. Insurance claims will also be filled if appropriate. Note...we are proud to say that Lily Cleaning Services has a damage-free record to date.

How do you access my home?
Lily Cleaning Services must be able to access your home on the scheduled date to provide our services. The most convenient option is to leave your key or entrance code with us. We keep your key and code in our key safe and is fully protected. Alternatively, someone can let us into your home, but please note we have a four hour arrival window and cannot guarantee a specific time of day.

What are your rates?
Fees are based on the square footage and condition of your home. Our pricing is completely customized to your needs and a quote will be given to you after our initial meeting. We base our pricing on many factors, including; children, pets, clutter and lifestyle.

How do I pay for your services?
Lily Cleaning Services accepts cash or cheque prior to the scheduled clean. We ask that the payment be left in a sealed envelope, in a designated area. If our staff arrives to clean your home, and there is no payment waiting for us, we reserve the right to leave the house without cleaning it and we will need to re-schedule the clean over the next two days to avoid the cancellation fee.

Should I leave a tip?
Although tips are not expected, they are a generous gesture of showing your appreciation and we are very happy to receive positive feedback. A note of thanks to our staff members is also very appreciated and is a great way to thank us. We aim to please, so any gesture of "thank you" is greatly appreciated.

How often will you clean?
The frequency of your cleaning schedule is relevant to your needs. Whether it is weekly, bi-weekly or seasonal depends on your preference. Please note that weekly cleans are recommended to stay on top of the natural amount of dust and dirt build-up (especially with children and pets). Bi-weekly cleans may require additional time, due to the additional dust, dirt, calcium build-up and everyday mess.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
This will be agreed upon during our initial meeting. We do generally bring our own cleaning supplies but we may ask to use your vacuum if you have pets that shed. Also, if you wish to have us use bleach in your home, we ask that you supply us with the bleach. (Please refer to our bleach policy).

How many people will be in my home during each clean?
In most cases, there will be two people in your home. Occasionally, there may be three people or one person. We respect that your home is private and we will keep you informed if the people entering your home is different than your regularly scheduled team.

What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service at your convenience.

What if I have to cancel my cleaning?
If you would like to cancel a cleaning, please notify us 2 business days in advance. (Please refer to our cancellation policy).

If there is a problem, who do I call?
Please contact Muriel Dennis with any problems, concerns or feedback with regards to our cleaning service. You can either call, email or use the on-line feedback form. Our goal is to clean your home to your standards. We encourage feedback from you so that we can learn how you would like to see certain things cleaned to your liking.

Lily Cleaning Services is always looking for reliable, experienced employees who are bonded with a clean record. We would appreciate your resumes being emailed to us with a subject line called "RESUME FOR LILY CLEANING SERVICES". We keep our resumes on file and we will contact you when a position becomes available.
